Lead The World
The world is looking for a leader
Once again we are at a point where the entire world seems to be asking for someone to take the helm and guide us back toward the light.
The old ways of stacking up troops to oppose the troops of another are no longer effective when everyone has the same capacity for harm.
Does it take more courarage to use violence than it does to try and reconcile?
How can we say without trying?
No nation should be dominated,or left behind.
We should spend our treasure on helping build schools, and shelter in the world's poorest regions, including our own.
If we gave aid to those allies who seek a positive outcome, we could seperate those who are meerly thugs, from those who want to live in peace.
First,we must realize that we cannot be masters in another man's house.
Give a date certain for withdrawal and you will cut the ability of the criminals to recruit in half.
You remove what they have been called to resist.
Fix the problems at home, and then extend a helping hand open to the developing countries
Friends working on saving our one and only planet.
All this can be done...if we simply take the lead.

I don't Get It
Let me get this straight. We are paying american blood and treasure to the waring factions to try to get then to reconcile?
How can a nation intervene in every conflict at once?
This is a lot like what we did to the british.
We ran, hide, shot from behind trees, and tried to wait out the invaders.
We didn't fight fair...according to the rules.
The same thing in Viet Nam.
Look man, if you chase me into my house, you are in danger.
I know where everything is.You are lost.
They will take your money, and still hate you.
We have sayings in this nation such as"Don't Tread On Me",and "Live Free Or Die"
No force on earth could occupy this land.So it is with others
They can't defeat us...but they can out last us.
Spend your treasure in the open to have the host nation deliver the criminals to you.
Our presence can only serve to agitate an already ancient fued.
Limping from one war to the next is very dangerous, and costly.
Spend your wealth to help the poor and bring progress to all the world.

Cycles
From Boom To Bust
All thru our history we have gone from the highest peak,to the lowest valley.
Each generation has it's own new inventions.
With each invention comes a rush to get in on the groundfloor before the building starts to rise.
This is our true nature. We are never staisfied with just enough.
This is why we never have a very long period of "prosperity"
As soon as we get used to one way of doing things, someone has another idea.
We can't know whether that idea is good,or bad unless we try it.
So, we are a work in progress....we are working on something.
This social experiment will sometimes be a little disconcerning, but we will make it to the goal if we just don't quit.
There are many people still alive who made it thru worse days than these.
This generation had to learn again why a monopoly is not good for anyone.
Somewhere some unknown person is working on the next new idea.
If we take a lesson from history we will ride out the storm, and wait in hopeful expectation the dawning of a new day.

Pull Down The Stronghold
WE Compromised
This nation was built on faith, hard work, and determination by people united in a common cause.
The world had never seen such, nor will it ever again.
Simple faith filled people let the enemy dominate the mountaintop.
We failled to be watchful and deligent.
Now, we must retake the high ground, for everyone knows that battles are most easily won by he who controls the high ground.
The greater good of the commonwealth of human energy is not served by selfish greed....
it is served best by an enlightened body making decisions based on the common good.
Remember with justice for all?
We cannot take back the stronghold without binding the strong man first.
Put back the regulations that were in place to prevent the domination, and you will have bound once again the strong man,and can then easily retake the mountaintop.
Our ancestors...our children...and our children's children are depending on our winning the battle at all costs.
And WE will.

This is my land
Taking it back by faith
We have been blind to the fact that you...you,there behind this mass illusion, have been manipulating us to be the workforce you use to hoard all the wealth.
The money you gamble with is our money.
If we all went to the bank today, you would be out of business tomorrow.
We will pay no more attention to the little minions you send to control this system with guns, smoke, and mirrors.
We see you clearly now.Our eyes are wide open.
The wealth will be transfered to the control of the people,or we will take it back by faith.
There is no lack.No shortage. We have abundant supply.
Return to the role of servant....or face the fact that we can get along without you very well.

More Moral Fiber
Constipation
Our nation is plugged up and sick because as Hamilton said,"The nation has a case of gallopping consumption, and if not treated soon, the patient will die."
Everybody wants more,bigger,better.
How much stuff can we worship?
While worshipping the idol of bling,we have lost our moral compass.
.
50 to 60 million people are not poor enough for welfare, yet not rich enough to withstand even one short illness,or setback.
We need a strong dose of moral fiber to clear us out so that we can return to regularity.
WE are full of it.
Our schools are long on technical skills......but short on morality.
The brilliant minds on wall street forgot, THE TEN COMMANDMENTS, that this nation was built on,without them,we aren't so smart are we?

Tesla Master of Energy
Free Energy
Early on in the industrial revolution, a man named Testla proved that light could be produced from the energy that surounds us all the time.
Experiments were done, papers were written.Nothing happened to develop this energy as a source for power.
Why?
The petrochemical-industrial complex had already put a lot of money into burning fossil fuels, and internal combustion.
The energy that surrounds us is free for all.
Oil means profit.
People knew that someday all this pollution would build into a green house effect, but that was far in the future.
Let future generations deal with the aftermath of greed, and hubris.
There is money to be made.
Well,the future is now.
It is time to invest in new ways of powering our world.

Is Your Bank Safe???
Every Friday Night
At closing time on friday nights the FDIC moves in to take over banks who have failed due to risky bets.
These banks are warned in advance by a court order to cease and desist.
This information is not shared with the customers,or employees of the bank.
There are three ways to close a bank
1.Close the bank, and pay off depositors.
2.Take over of operations by FDIC.
3.Sell the sick bank to the highest bidder, who is quaranteed up to 80% of it's deposits by FDIC.
Last year 25 banks failed.
This year we already have 16 failed banks.
Dozens more will fail this year alone.
The FDIC expects to spend 65 billion dollars on closing failed banks over the next five years.
Allowing banking institutions to grow too large is the same as letting the other monopolies who have tried to hold the nation hostage to it's demands have their way.
Teddy Roosevelt was a trust buster for this very reason.
Too much power in the hands of too few, always leads to abuse.
Let these paper tigers fail, and replace them with smaller, easy to regulate community banks.
Keep your money in your neighborhood......fix your own potholes with local labor.

Mr president, I think the time has come to put the nation back on the gold standard. We can all see what happens when speculators are left unchecked by any body that represents the interests of the common people. We will not make it thru another crap shoot where the house gets to do it over everytime they lose a bet. If markets around the world could come together to put a fair market value on an ounce of gold we could easily determine what goods and services are really worth. We have inspectors who go around taking inventory of nuclear weapons because no one doubts that we could all perish in an instant without sane leadership. No more tricks for the holding of power and knowledge. Let all have a change at being what they were sent here to be. Not everyone went to law school, but we are fooled by lawyers everyday who are supposed to represent us. Return to ways of commerce that common people can work, and succeed in. The people have lost confidence in paper and plastic. Our resouces are huge.Find them....refine them...sell them at fair market value. Make our nation once again...the world's gold standard. Tim Ballard Easy Does IT This is one of the finest musical efforts I have heard from any independent artist in over 40 years. Easy does it does it for me. This production has been recorded and mastered to the highest standards available with today’s technology. Tim’s mellow voice puts me in mind of the great male vocalists of who have given renditions of the great American songbook. Listen for just a minute and you hear the influences of the musical standard bearers that shaped Tim’s own original approach to Jazz and pop standards. The choice of tunes gives the album a unique credibility seldom achieved by today’s artists. Rich orchestrations played in an impeccable manner support Tim’s rich full tone as he glides effortlessly over some of the most demanding charts ever written by our finest composers. Songs such as; Midnight Sun , Don’t Misunderstand , and Angel Eyes bring back memories of a time when vocalists spoke to the heart of life with style and grace. I highly recommend this very attractive album. Jeff Jones The House Of jeffness.org |

Bailout Blues

It's the taxpayers money It seems to me that the same people responsible for needing bailouts ,are the same ones who caused the trouble. Yes, we should help with a bridge loan at simple interest, but not at the price they dictate. These people are in no position to dictate terms. We can still turn this into a win-win situation if it is handeled like a business deal. The taxpayer should have a chance to cash in on some profit for putting up new money at a new negotiated price and rate of interests we can all live with. The numbers submitted .before were based on facts that were untrue,or at least should have been known to be untrue. Leave the foundation in place, pull down the rot,and build anew. Everyone shares the burden & nbsp; everyone should share in the profit. Jeff Jones The House of Jeffness.org They don't deserve a bonus of any kind. |

Bring back the rule of law King George the 43rd was wrong. If a person is suspected of, but, not yet charged with a crime, does the American president have the right to arrest, and detain that person, without warrant from a court of law indefinitely, without bringing charges and allowing for a defense. Under U.S. law isn’t that called kidnapping. Is this why enemy combatants are not detained on U.S. soil? Without the rule of law could anyone of us be arrested and detained in the same manner? YES! While Walking Down Main Street
While Walking Down Main Street
The smart guys with all the answers were starting to get on my nerves.
Seemed like a good time for nice long walk.
While walking along main street , I saw a wide variety of shops.
Some had hand made goods, others sold fresh produce.
I saw books for sale, and artwork, and supplies.
It occurred to me that wall st. is a long way from main st., the capitol farther still.
The big companies played us like big mouth bass, but the owner of the neighborhood business didn’t.
I hope more people think about supporting that local person trying to make a living, and build their dream.
Buy from the little guy.
We can support what we think is best. No matter what the smart guys say.

Mr. President, I wish to trun now to the subject of money. I assume sir, the you subcribe to the notion that we live in a nation of ideals. The waters are often troubled, and the. current is not always predictatble. Therefore, I do appreciate your taking into consideration as many points of veiw as you can.. I would ask you kind Sir, to consider a few more. Mr. Hamilton and Mr. Jefferson who went before you as you know, were.of different minds about the role of government, as in how to pay for a war that was just won at great cost in blood, and treasure borrowed. There was a pressing need to repay this debt if the nation were to have any hope of enjoying good standing in the world. WE wanted to be credit, and trustworthy. But, how to do this? Should we trust the system to revive itself from some embedded program stored on a hard drive,or paper, for a time such as this? I think not Sir. I think you have been held in the wings for times such as these. It is a crap shoot.Whatever you decide to do,someone will disagree. Well, some things we cannot change,we shall just have to adjust ourselves to them. Returning to the aforementioned difference between these two leaders,I hold with Mr. Haniltom who stated his belief, the the federal government should buy up the all the debt incurred by each state. Assumtion Mr. Jefferson held that the government should be run by citizens, and not by professional politicians. He felt a man should spend part of his life in the fields producing, and part of his life serving his country in government.. AS you know, a compromise was reached. The government assumed this toxic debt which was so burdonsome to individual states. And the capitol was moved from New York to a lttle hamlet by the potomac river. I think Sir, that another such compromise would be a far better solution than giving money to the same people who took avantage of every opportunity to increse their profit at the expense of the comon good. Consider this if you will SIr. This nation always seems to find resources to do the thngs that are most emergent, although we never quite reach a full consensus. So......Why not buy this debt directly from the nations strategic gold reserve. No more fake paper assets, and accounting tricks to avoid paying each ones fair share. While at this point Sir,I might point out that I believe that when Mr. Lincoln called for an income tax,it was an emergecy measure. The civil war is over. Does it really work to penalize success to the point that companies seach shelters, and offshore labor? Proposition: 1.Return to the gold standard. 2.Assume the national debt 3.Reform the tax laws, closing all loopholes We have reached the point that propping up a paper tiger is going to be more expensive that simply paying the debt without interest,at a negotiated price based on a percentage of the debt, not the inflated price of the original speculators who created these pools. I suggest paying 10-30% on the dollar. Under better rules and over sight by congress, these ill companies will stay in busines long enough to recover. They will repay the debt at simpe interest, thus restoring the nations treasury commitment. No one losses. A scam was pulled on the people. We do not have to pay the price dictated by those who are asking for bailouts. When the common person is in trouble there is no bail out. Only foreclosure, and bakruptcy. Please don't leave the same foxes in the henhouse. Make America once again the gold standard of the world With sincere respect venerable Sir, Jeff Jones The House of jeffness.org Images

Hey you......yeah you,I'm talking to you. I have told you several times that some people have stolen the public funds, raped the horses and rode the woman. After all my yelling I haven't heard anything from anybody. I feel I'm talking to myself. Well, maybe I am,but sooner,or later someone will hear my muttering and say, You know,I think that crazy man over there said something we maybe should listen to before we send him to the nuthouse. We can always send him there later, after all....the drug companies do need to get more money so they can find more ways of sending the rest of us there to keep him company.. Thinking about all this stuff is just too much work,so why don't we just act like we can't hear what he is saying. Heaven forebid that we should awake to what has been going on and actually take action. Or....are we the crazy ones for not doing something about sitting here nicely while the house burns down around us. I don't know....but, maybe you better give me another beer before the TV comes back from commercial. If somebody is going to do something about it....it ain't gonna be me. I might have to admit that we have been had...that would just be too much for me right now. I am too busy working, and falling further behind on my house note. Let somebody else do something about it. Calling On Kat
Best wishes,

Dear Kat,
There is something you can do for me.
For a very long time now I have been hard at work trying to let people know just how much we need beauty in this world.
The beauty of song, and poetry, and painting.
It seems that the world just keeps on trying to blow itself to hell thru greed and violence.
There is only so much one old man can do.
But, will you do this one thing for me.
When sometimes I cease my endless fussing, and try to fall asleep upon my cot.
I wonder if anybody ever gives a damn about the musing of one lonely soul.
The fight has been long, and soon the time of midight shall overtake me.
I have no fear of going into the dark night, for I know that I am destined to be drawn into the beautiful light.
But what about the children....how will they know what to say and what t do?
I depend upon loved ones like you.
You who have fought with me...yes and cried for me.
Please tell them what I tried to do...what I tried so hard to make them see.
Maybe the world will never know,or ever remember what we do here this day,but I know that you know.
And that means more to me than I can ever say.
That's all I have to say about that.
With all my love,

Mr President, I have been listening very intently to the debate over what you should do to fix the problems facing our nation. I have not however heard anyone besides yourself step up to the plate and give us some positive suggestions on what to do. I therefore suggest that you stay the course. At least you do have some positive suggestions. Some be right, some may be wrong, but this is the trouble with a democracy. We can't have one person tell the nation to meet at the corner drug store at 9am on March 23 2009,and expect everyone to show up. This is a nation of free thinkers as you well know. Not one person wants to be told what to do by the government. Take a lesson from John Kennedy, and FDR. Ask the nation's citizens to put forward their ideas on what should be done. You dont have to solve this nations problems in one sweeping move. We have a congress that has done nothing besides offer negative commemtary on your ideas ,without offering to carry some of the burden of finding a solution that we can all live with. I urge you to ignore negative critics, and order the congress to get to work. WE are a strong people who have faced problems before and survived. We will survive again. You do not have to do this in one month,or ten. Ask the people to participate fully in helping to read the road map. No one has to be right,or wrong, just sincerely involved in the serious work at hand. There will never be a time when we all agree on anything, except this one salient point. This is our nation. This is our problem. You sir,are doing a wonderful job of moderating the debate. Ask each one who has an issue with what you propose to put forward their own ideas on what should be done. This need not cost a lot of money. You may use my website if you like....it is already payed for in full. Keep trying. You are more than equal to the task. Sincerely, Jeff Jones The House of jeffness.org Images
